Woongjin Coway R&D Centre

 Woongjin Coway is a health and environment company incorporated based on the customer's needs to protect themselves against the aggravating environmental pollution and company's strong will to respond to the needs of the customers and its concerns over the environment protection. Since its incorporation in 1989, Woongjin Coway has been striving to make valuable contribution to the happy lives of human beings by offering healthy and fresh-life environment through fresh water and clean air. In 2007, Coway achieved USD 1.3 billion in revenue, representing a 8.5 percent increase from the year before.

     As some of Coway's high-tech products can have a high initial cost to consumers when they first hit the market, Coway adopted a rental business model in 1998 to make them more accessible.As the cost to consumers decreased over time, people began widely adopting the products. Coway's attentive after-rental service also raised its corporate reputation with the Cody System, a trained purifier expert visiting customers regulary, changing filters and ensuring that products are in optimal condition, free of charge. In 2006, the number of Cody System experts had risen to 11,000 with customers nationwide numbering over four millions.

It's not just our products that made Woongjin Coway the superior brand, it's our Dream Service. Our Dream Service is really " people dream service " simply because we provide customer care service and maintenance that is professional, prompt, friendly and efficient. Woongjin Coway - its not just high technology, it's human technology.

CURRENTLY, MORE THAN ONE OUT OF FOUR KOREANS USE COWAY WATER FILTRATION DEVICES, AND ONE OUT OF TEN USES COWAY'S AIR PURIFIERS.



Woongjin Coway Malaysia

Woongjin Coway (M) Sdn. Bhd. was set up in May 29,2006 with an initial investment of RM5.8mil, which was subsequently doubled to RM11.6mil in November 2006. Malaysia as Woongjin Coway's fourth overseas market after China, Japan and Thailand. It would be positioned as a regional base for the South-East Asia Market. Now Coway is making its splash into the Malaysia market grabbing 50,000 customers in December 2010. Currently, we have a 16-products line-up of water purifier, air purifier, electronic and manual bidet, water softerner, outdoor filter and there are more to launched soon.

We have also focused on enhancing customer contact point services as well as " experiencing with customer service " through various meetings and events with internal and external customers.

We have managed our customers' opinion that we collected through VOC (Voice of Customer) well and gave prompt feedback to the customers.
